みちのく３大桜名所one of the 3 very beatiful cherry blossom scenery に数えられている北上展勝地Kitakami-Tensyouchiに行きました。　
北上の町を南北に流れるのが東北一の北上川、その東河畔にあるのが桜並木。　北上川Kitakami-riverと和賀川Waga-riverが合流する地点に陣ケ丘と云う高台があり、そこから観た桜並木の眺めが素晴らしいので景勝の地と云う意味で展勝地と名付けられています。

生憎の天気で桜の色がしずんだ感じでしたが咲き乱れたソメイヨシノSomeiyoshinoは実に見事でした。
